Sheikh Shams Uddin was born on September 7, 1917 in Agra. He inherited the art of Zardozi Embroidery from his father Late Habib Buksh. Embroidery by Shamsuddin – the hardest art of embroidery in the world, and each piece weighs more than two hundred pounds! The works of Sheikh Shams Uddin are the highest samples of embroidery skill, for which the master repeatedly got awards. Unfortunately, Sheikh Shams Uddin, the pioneer of three-dimensional embroidery, passed away. Fortunately, his son and students of the Master continue his work.
